Turkish World Ancestor Sports Festival

The festivities, which are organized in order to introduce the values of Turkish culture to future generations and the world and to strengthen the unity of the Turkish peoples, are held in Kocayayla, a lush green natural wonder, located on the skirts of Uludağ in Bursa's Keles district. Within the scope of the festivals, traditional Turkish ancestor sports such as Kökbörü, javelin, aba-girdle salwar wrestling and oil wrestling competitions, as well as traditional archery, horse archery and amble shows are performed. In addition, cultural objects, tastes and clothes of relative nations such as Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Uyghur, Uzbek, Turkmen, Tatar, Nogay are presented to visitors at the stands. The event is brought together with the visitors with the participation of athletes from Turkey and abroad and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
