In the framework of the Festival, leading shadow play artists of Turkey and the world meet with the audience. In addition to the best known traditional shadow play Hacivat and Karagöz, examples from the world are introduced, exhibited, and workshops on puppet and shadow play are formed to show how this art is performed. This festival has been held every 2 years in November-December since 1993.
