Şehbenderler Mansion Library

The mansion, which contains examples of traditional Turkish house architectural texture and is estimated to have been built in the 19th century, gained the identity of a library with the restoration made by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in 2010.

Şehbenderler Mansion Library, which is one of the important values of Bursa; is a research library. With the collection of art, art history, language and literature, theology, philosophy and history, it is hosting nearly 15,000 books. it has been organized to be a source for many academic researches. At the same time, rare works, Ottoman collection, dictionaries and valuable encyclopedias are available.
