It was built in the middle of the XV. century by Karaca Bey, one of the distinguished statesmen of Murat II and Fatih period,  The caravanserai, which has a rectangular plan, is divided into three parts  with a series of three columns in two rows in the north-south direction. With the initiative of the relevant authorities and the support of the İnegöl Municipality, the restoration of the work was completed in 2008 and is open to visitors today.
