The velvet, which is made with the silk, was widely used in the past. Velvet weaving with patterned or patternless; It was used in the production of traditional clothing and items such as entari, shalwar, cepken, caftan, bundle, pouch, pillow, slippers, headgear, book cover. The most famous of the velvets, is decorated with Ottoman’s relief desinged motifs and gold or silver strand, are “Çatma”.
