Botanic Park

In Bursa, within the scope of the green belt, "Soğanlı Botanic Park" was opened in 1998 in order to provide the city with plenty of oxygen, new recreational and healthy sports areas. Soğanlı Botanic Park is a park open to herbal research and scientific studies, as well as protecting the Bursa Plain with 8000 trees of 150 species, 100.000 bushes of 76 species, 50.000 ground covers of 20 species and 6000 roses of 27 species, located in an area of ​​400.000 m2.

Also in the park; There are Japanese garden, English garden, French garden, rose garden, azalea-rhododendron garden, fragrant plants garden, rock garden, color gardens, shaped plants gardens.

Soğanlı Botanic Park offers its visitors the opportunity to relax, to observe the leaves and blooming plants at different times, as well as to exercise for a healthy life. There are 12,000 m natural walking paths, a natural jogging path, a 1,000 m cold asphalt covered bicycle path and ponds in the park. Some of the famous old Bursa houses built in the Botanical Park of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries add a distinct beauty to the park.
