Oven Baked quince in thick syrup

Bursa, is the first capital of Ottoman Empire, was made a great contribution to the formation of Ottoman Palace Cuisine with its local flavours and desserts. This dessert is also one of them. This flavour, which is one of the fruit desserts of Traditional Bursa Cuisine,  is widely made by people of Bursa.

The quinces, is used to making of the dessert, are firstly divided into two and then, boiled with sugar and water in a saucepan. Boiled quinces are lined up on the tray and Baked in the oven. Finally, cream and walnuts are placed on the dessert, which is prepared, for a meal service. You can find this flavour in famous and traditional restaurants of Bursa.
