The festival, held in the Gemlik district of Bursa, is organized every year in the last week of August, with events promoting the world's highest quality table olive, the Bursa Gemlik olive. At the stands set up within the scope of the festival, the most beautiful table olives collected by the local people, local delicacies and products made from the olive oil of the region are introduced and presented to the participants. In addition, national and international local folk dance teams and musicians also perform.
